Bloomington Soft Tissue Doctors & Chiropractic
Restore Musculoskeletal Health + Increase Performance + Eliminate Pain with Expert Treatment of Muscle, Joint, & Nerve Dysfunction
At Bloomington Sports and Wellness our commitment to clinical excellence is what sets us apart. We believe treatment must be safe, effective, and durable. The most common cause of pain and injured structures originates at the soft tissue level (muscles, tendons, and ligaments). As a result, we utilize a complete system, Integrative Diagnosis (ID), for the diagnosis and conservative treatment of muscle, nerve, and joint problems. This is in contrast to many chiropractic offices who put a lot of emphasis on manipulating (or adjusting) everyone, treatments based on system charts, treating entire structures in hopes to cause a change (while possibly causing more harm than good) or just treating where it hurts. Most other systems leave you with technique specific assessments and technique specific treatments almost always leaving massive holes in the process and furthermore leaving the provider with incomplete assessments and treatments. With ID we can stop guessing and start knowing. The ID method is specific to the exact tissue and pathology involved. It is the most complete, most accurate, most objective diagnostic assessment in all of musculoskeletal medicine.
Integrative Diagnosis Providers are few and far between due to the rigorous ongoing training required to excel and perfect the system. Bloomington Sports and Wellness is the only clinic in Indiana that provides this expert level of conservative musculoskeletal care. Integrative Diagnosis is a thorough system that yields correct diagnoses and conservative treatments of musculoskeletal disorders. These problems in the muscles, nerves, and joints are often a result of adhesion causing limited mobility. Adhesion acts like a glue, preventing full and correct range of motion which can lead to pain, injury and furthermore, overcompensation causing secondary pain and injury. It is the most common musculoskeletal condition in the body yet highly misdiagnosed. The good news is it is reversible!
